Newegg Still Unable to Appeal Patent Loss

Online retailer Newegg, known for fighting patent trolls in court, lost its most recent case in November 2013; the company was ordered to pay $2.3M to TQP Development, after Judge Rodney Gilstrap decided Newegg infringed on TQP’s now-expired patent which claimed the method of Internet encryption technologies.
