Japanese Company Daikin to Offer Free Access to its Patents

This week Daikin Industries announced that it would be offering companies worldwide free access to its patents. As JapanToday reports, the move is meant to encourage manufacturers and companies to develop air conditioning and cooling/heating equipment that is sustainable and uses the HFC-32 refrigerant.
