Multiple Patent Study Description:
This Study is for 4 patents. They are US 5,239,440; US 5,473,283, US 5,646,563, and US 5,170,470. National Semiconductor has also asserted US Patent No. 4,567,058 which expired in 2003.
Description:
All of these patents have been asserted in one lawsuit. US 5,239,440 relates to protection circuits used to “shunt†electrostatic discharge away from functioning circuitry so as to not disrupt the operation of the functioning circuitry. US 5,473,283 relates to charge pump circuits, and in particular, to charge pump circuits using metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs). US 5,646,563 relates to charge pumps which supply closely matched up and down current pulses. US 5,170,470 relates to modems that enable data to be transferred between computers by means of telephone lines or other communication links.
