METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REQUESTING PRIOR ART FROM THE PUBLIC IN RETURN FOR A REWARD
We invite the Advisor community to research AOP's own patent application in a peer review process. This invention is for a system for requesting prior art in exchange for compensation. The amount of the compensation is based on the value of the information as determined by auction.

Description:
This Study is a request for a "State of the Art Collection." In State of the Art Studies, payment of the Reward is guaranteed to the AOP community The Reward will be paid for the 1-2 references that best describe the highest level of development of the technology of the claims as of the Latest Date for Prior Art, March 27, 2007.
This patent study includes the claims contained in a single patent application. Here is an exemplary claim:
a. an information request module, wherein said information request module is configured to display over a computer network a request for information and a description of compensation for information responsive to said information request;
b. an auction module, wherein said auction module is configured to permit a plurality of information seekers to bid during a bidding process on a right to gain exclusive access or first access to said information responsive to said information request if said information is received, wherein said auction module permits a plurality of bidders to submit bids and the bid with the greatest value is the highest bid, and wherein until completion of the bidding process, the auction module does not disclose whether said information responsive to said information request has been received;
c. a receipt of information module, wherein said receipt of information module is configured to receive a description of at least one response to said information request;
d. a display module, wherein said display module is configured to display over said computer network a description of whether said information responsive to said information request has been received; and
e. a central processing unit, wherein said central processing unit is operably coupled to said information request module, said auction module, said receipt of information module and said display module.
