   Researchers: Full Crowd (27,000+ registered researchers), plus AOP Special Ops.

   
   AOP Special Ops: An in-house, dedicated team built for general and specific research support.  AOP Special Ops specialize in key technologies, geographies and languages (Japanese, Korean, German, etc.) and conducts a baseline search to support the Crowd’s research.  They are employees of Article One and are not eligible to win any rewards.

2. ExpertSource: 

   AOP hires 2 Expert AOP Researchers, augmented by AOP Special Ops to conduct a short term prior art search.

   Value: Participants are winners from our full crowd, who have consistently performed well in specific technology areas.  They conduct a lower cost, shorter-term research project for directional view of prior art.
