An Easy-to-Use Platform

The Article One platform is simple and easy to use. We enable our community to respond to requests for research in the patent area.

In a sense, looking for patent research can be like looking for a needle in a haystack. By accessing our global research community, our clients have higher confidence that they have performed blue chip patent research to look for that needle. Our community's work allows our clients to make better patent-related business decisions.

The incentive for our community is monetary rewards in three forms. For each research project, which we call Studies, our researchers can earn between $5,000 and $50,000 for premier research.  Researchers can also win $100 Most Valuable Researcher rewards based on their submissions.  Finally, Researchers can be involved in our Profit Sharing Program by earning points based on their involvement on our site.

Each research project consists of five easy steps.

1. Our clients request research.
2. Researchers review the research request, which we call a Study, and send in research related to the Study
3. Clients access these high-quality prior art submissions in real-time.
4. Clients may communicate directly with researchers to target results.
5. The individual who submitted the highest quality research wins a monetary reward of between $5,000 and $50,000. Additionally, the Shared Reward payment of $100 each will be distributed to up to 10 Researchers (totaling up to $1,000 per Study).

Profit Sharing

We believe in opening more of our company up to our community. Grounded in that belief, we further reward our community by distributing a portion of our annual net profits to our active Researchers. Learn about the details of Profit Sharing.
